7 Steps to Massive Exposure of Your Website

Seven Steps to Massive Exposure of Your Website

This is a screen capture of my CapturePros Affiliate Workshop Google Analytics for Nov. 2009. It is interesting to see that more than 70% of all visitors are now using Mozilla Firefox as their browser. Google Chrome is steadily catching up on Internet Explorer as well. I see also that I will have to work on my site to keep people longer on it. The bounce rate is something to smile about as it seems that the visitors actually find what they were looking for.

Now let us look at the seven steps that I took to achieve these results:

Step One:

Send an email to your list of subscribers and follow-up with a few more with your link to your website. If you still don't have a list then it should be your first priority for 2010. Without your own list you will never reach financial independence. Affiliate Workshop was specifically developed to help you build your list and also build your team of affiliates at the same time.

Step Two:

Create a splash page with your CapturePage creator in NPN with your website link. Then submit it to your favorite Traffic Exchanges and surf at least half an hour each day. TE surfers don't have time to fill in a form while they surf so create your link so that it will open in a new window. When they have finished surfing they can look at your offer with more interest and subscribe.

Step Three:

Send mailings through the Safelists as often as it is allowed. Try different subject lines to improve your open rate of your emails. Try sending your emails at different times of the day or days of the week until you find the best option. When you use Affiliate Workshop you will immediately know when you have hit the jackpot because you will receive notification emails of each subscriber. Don't forget to send them a personal welcome email immediately. Many JV partnerships were born with such emails. Always offer your help and ask feedback from your new subscribers.

Step Four:

Create a catchy signature line that you can use in all the articles that you write, all the forums you post, your blog comments and all the emails you send. Here is mine that really works well:

Matt Maré.

Step Five:

Use HTML ads on your Thank You, Login or Logout Pages. An Easy way to create your own HTML ads at no cost is by using . If you have a Gmail account you can already use Google docs. It is as easy as typing an email using their WYSIWYG editor. First insert a table to have a border for your ad and choose your background color. Then add your text and graphics. When done just open [Edit] from the top menu and select [Edit HTML]. Copy the code and plug it into your web pages where you want to display the ad. You can even use Google docs to create your own viral PDF reports and ebooks as well.

Step Six:

Post your HTML ads either as an Unadvertised Bonus or Today's Special Free Bonus on your web pages. How about a Fast Action Bonus or just as a 'Next Step' in your sales funnel. Don't forget about your 404 - Page Not Found either.

Step Seven:

Add some banners and text ads to your Safelist Rotators to get even more exposure. The click-through rate might not be great but it will also help with branding your business. Tests have shown that people have to see your offer at least 6-7 times before they will take action.

Here are some results of my marketing the past month of Nov. 2009.

As you can see your own list will always yield the best results plus a good signature line shown in the right places will do good as well. Sometimes the number of visitors will be high but the conversion rate low and sometimes the conversion rate will be very high but the subscriptions low. In the last instance it can mean that you should think about upgrading in that Safelist to reach more prospects like with List Insomnia and Advertise Free For Life.

Note: These are my affiliate links and I will earn a commission if you upgrade in these programs. The results that I have received is probably above average because the average user will normally take less action.

The main lesson that one should learn from these figures is that it is essential to keep track of your visitors. Without stats you will always shoot in the dark and you will miss more often with your ad campaigns. With useful stats you can take better decisions.

Hope this has been of some help to you and any comments are welcome.

Get Your Own Affiliate Program

There are a few basic things you need when you are marketing online. First of all you need to build a list of interested people to whom you can send your offers. Secondly you need some tools to do this effectively.

You need good capture pages to enroll subscribers to your list and you need an auto-responder service to follow-up with them. Tracking is also very important to weed out the ad campaigns that do not bring you targeted traffic. Tracking and testing is needed for split testing to continuously improving your capture pages and sales letters.

You obviously need products that your prospects want to buy. Even if you have all the necessary tools for efficient online marketing, you will battle to make a living from it. The one thing that will change you business around is when you are able to bring in business partners that will help you to promote your offers. This is called affiliate marketing and it is the way most new prospects enter this field of Internet Marketing.

The new entrants mostly don't have their own products or services to market yet. This is where you come in the picture if you can convince them to promote your products for a share in the profits. The one thing that will entice them to join your affiliate program is if you can make it easy for them to earn a decent income without having to jump through too many hoops. They will keep on promoting your products as long as they can make easy money.

One of the first things you should prepare for them is effective marketing resources like pre-written ads, email and banners that they can use in their marketing campaigns. You have to make it as easy as possible for them to quickly start earning good money when they promote your stuff. You don't need hundreds of affiliates to make it work and not all your list members will join your affiliate program. Normally less than 3% will do anything at all but you only need a few enthusiastic marketers. Work with them and help them as much as you are able and they will become your loyal supporters.

How to Create Your Own Affiliate Program?

There are several ways in which you can get your own affiliate program but it need not be as difficult as you might think. Normally you would need your own domain name and website and some script to handle your affiliates. To most people this is a big stumbling block and they do not even try it for lack of the technical knowledge.

In my search for a suitable script to handle one of my affiliate programs I came upon a solution so simple and easy to implement that anybody can handle it. There is no need to know any HTML or how to upload files to your host. Actually you don't even have to worry about registering your own domain or the hosting of your site. Everything is handled for you and you even get 10 POP3 emails on top of the deal. The site builder will allow you to create your own mini-site within hours and it is no more difficult than writing an email.

The fact that unlimited auto-responders, complete with full tracking, is built into this system makes it your dream come true. After setting up my own affiliate program I realized that many people might find it suitable for their needs as well. I have created a site where I offer to teach you how easy it is to set up your own system. If you still don't have your own products to promote you can also join my affiliate program where you can earn a commission of up to 90% on most products.

You can use the system as is or you can even get your own offer incorporated in the system. All links will be replaced with your affiliate links and you will thus have several income streams. All the chosen programs that are promoted are proven money makers and have quality products that your customers will love to use. Seeing that these are monthly services you will earn a residual income that will keep on growing as long as you promote just one link.

Have a look at what we have to offer at CapturePros.com and you can make use of our system at no cost to you. So far the conversion rate for our capture pages is steadily increasing and stands at 7%+ when promoted in the Safelists. Other traffic sources might give even better results.

Here is the link to the first page: http://capturepros.homebiztruth.com which will give you free access to our Affiliate Workshop.

Disclaimer: There is no guarantee that you will make huge sums within days and I have no idea what the income will be for the average user. I am definitely not your average marketer because I take massive action and expect great results. The only thing that I do know is that with a single mailing to some 10 plus Safelists 42 people subscribed to the system within 48 hours. They obviously saw the value of what we are offering.

Special Note: This is an affiliate program and when you subscribe to the recommended programs I will earn a commission. This is the whole idea of belonging to an affiliate program. You earn a commission when you promote these programs and people subscribe to them.

Warning: You will be billed each month as long as you stay a member of each recommended service. On the other hand you will be paid a monthly commission as long as your referrals stay members of these programs. You will be paid monthly from the very first referral - no waiting and no need to qualify. With just three referrals you will be in profit. You will earn commission at least 5 levels deep and there is no ceiling on any earnings.

As a single person trying to make a living with your online marketing it will be an uphill struggle. With an affiliate team supporting you and helping you to promote your products, you will see much better results. The more people you can help to become successful, the more success you will have. You have to be prepared to share and this is exactly what I am offering here. Let me help you to build your own affiliate program and capture your share of the vast Internet Opportunities.

The Devil is in the Detail of Setting up Your Membership Site.

Anybody that has created a membership site will tell you that it is no easy task. There are so many little things that you have to keep in mind. Even if you make use of the best software solution there are still lots of things that need your attention. And I am not talking about the design and layout of the system. That will be the least of your problems.

First you have to decide what type of membership it will be. Will you have only a free membership and monetize it with back-end sales or will it be a paid membership? Will you have a single tier membership or multi-level? Each of these types of membership has it's own pros and cons.

Secondly you have to decide if you are going to allow affiliate promotion of your membership and how you are going to handle it. Will you offer a single tier affiliate system or multi-tier? What percentage commission will you offer?

Thirdly and most importantly you have to make up your mind about the content you will offer to your members. Will you make use of PLR content or are you going to create the content yourself? This last option can be a daunting task to keep up with month after month. Or would you concentrate on providing software and scripts for your members?

As you can see it is not something that can be accomplished overnight and many days of long hours can be your cross to carry. Then only do we come to the detail. Say you have decided to offer an affiliate program. Do you offer your affiliates promotional material or a tracking system for their ad campaigns? If you can, it will make their life so much easier and you will see better results. Will you password protect the content and how will you handle your customers login details? Will you send it by email or will it be displayed on the download page?

There are several options for the distribution of the content. Will you offer only personal use of it or will you allow resale rights? And what about Master Resale Rights or even Private Label Rights? Do you have the means to re-brand reports, e-books or even software? These are basic things that you need if you want to go the viral way. That is to make content available that will entice your members to distribute it quickly to earn good income but at the same time it will give you exposure for your membership and other back-end offers.

One of the best pieces of advice I discovered in my research of memberships is to offer Wholesale Memberships. This offer will allow your JV partner to sell a predetermined number of your memberships for their own account. This will immediately build your numbers substantially and although you do not make any money directly, you will have the opportunity to bring your up-sell offers to proven buyers. Your JV partner will be happy to promote the site because they can easily earn a substantial monthly income without having any headaches about support and delivery of content. To sweeten the pot you can even offer them a Platinum upgrade for that matter. This will enable them to promote your site even better when they see everything that you have to offer.

The main objective should always be to deliver just quality content and if you can find or create original material it will always be in high demand. The cost of your membership should be about 25% of the value of the content. An easy way to determine the value is to break it down in chunks. For example the cost of an original article, like this one you are reading, can be about $7 while that of a 10-15 page report can be about $15. Say you can create an e-book of 35 pages for $50 complete with e-cover. Now add a sales page, order page and thank you page for $200. If you supply 10 articles, 3 reports, an e-book with complete sales page then the total value would be about $365. You can then easily charge $91 per month and it would be good value for money.

Now what is the point of this article.

I went through this whole process the past few weeks and just wanted to share some facts with you. If you would like to take a look at what I was able to put together it would be my pleasure to show you around. The site have not yet been officially launched seeing that it is still being beta tested but you can take a free tour. Any feedback will be much appreciated and if it is of value to me it might just mean that you earn yourself a Gold level membership. Testimonials will be placed prominently on the sales page and you can add your photo, audio, video and URL.

Sign up at no cost now and you will find our Forum under help in the top menu. Post your remarks there or send me a support email if you are interested in a wholesale deal.

The Power of Online Networking

The Power of Online Networking To Escalate Your Sales

Networking is a very important part of your online business and it is the key to generating exposure and sales. The World Wide Web makes it easy to connect to large numbers of people. You are also able to make contact with people who are already interested in what you have to offer.

In this article you will discover how you can make these lucrative contacts. You will see how you can utilize these opportunities to have the most impact. Most people might think that it is easy to use the Internet to start contacting people left right and center.

But how do you get people to respond? How do you monetize your contact list without turning people off?

Here you will be shown the mistakes people make and how to avoid being caught in these traps.

If you have been looking to find a job in this slow economy you will know that it is of no use to just send out your resume to all your contacts. It is not likely that you will receive any favorable response. You first have to find people who are looking for the skills that you have.

The Internet can be used to find people who are looking for what you have to offer. However, it will also be much easier to be ignored if your contact is perceived to be pushy. Nobody likes to be directly marketed to. Some people might even report your attempt to be spam if you are not very careful. Thus it is very important to start out on the right foot. The quality of your first contact must be beyond any reproach.

The big Question is: "What type of connection do you want?"

Nobody wants to be bombarded with a one-sided approach where you just talk about yourself or your product. First try to establish what your contact's interest is. You will then be in a much better position to serve them properly. Once you have helped them with any of their problems they will be more inclined to listen to what else you have to offer. Your main goal should be to produce loyal followers and not one-time customers.

Different Ways of Making a Connection.

The first way of connecting can be forced where you actively seek out contact in forums or other network facilities. The second way is where you basically try to attract contact with supplying good content. You place something of great value where your intended audience might find it. Interested parties can then find you through strategically placed links to your offer.

In the first instance you can find places where people of similar interest gather to discuss things that interest them. These places can be found by using the search engines or with certain tools like www.quantcast.com. Both these methods can be used to build your contact list and the one scenario is not better than the other.

In the first instance you are going to the people and in the second the interested parties are coming back to you. In the first situation you will know why people are coming together and what they want to talk about the most.

People that come to you from different social networking sites might be attracted for surprising reasons. These might be things that you have not even considered to be important. These might be the hidden gems of your future prosperity. Once you find out why people are naturally attracted to you and what you have to offer, that is what you have to concentrate on. That is exactly what might be your USP or unique selling proposition that will let you stand out from the crowd.

First you start with forced contact to a niche you know can be profitable. Over time you develop your own unique style to attract people to you.

Now, how do you accomplish this goal?

You have to understand how you got the connections who reached your site without much effort from you. These people have seen something important in you that you might be completely ignorant about. Now listen to what they want to talk about and learn how to create products or services that might benefit them the most.

You Have to Practice the Art of Listening.

The first contact should never be about sales. Any long-term relationship will be ruined if you try to market to anyone before you even know what they want. It will destroy any trust and turn people off immediately. Do not apply this technique on especially social networking sites. Take time to listen to what people are discussing and get to know your contacts before any attempt of marketing to them.

Listen with the intent to determine how you can find ways to add value to other people's lives. The conversation should be natural but targeted to producing benefit to both parties. You might make a sale and for them it can be the solution to a problem. This can only happen if you are able to provide products of high quality providing solutions to real problems.

Ask For Feedback.

Find out what attracted your visitor to your website in the first place. This will enable you to concentrate your content towards your visitor's needs even better.

There are several ways in which you can get peoples feedback. You can place a form on your website and offer some reward for completing it. You can send your visitor an email where you ask their opinion. Invite them to a forum where they can discuss matters that are important to them. This contact should not be threatening in any way because it need to set a favorable climate for future conversations.

A Pattern Should Be Seeked Out.

With careful observation a certain pattern can be noticed. Read carefully between the lines and you might pick up needs of your visitors that they might not even realize themselves. People might be interested in your list building methods but they might have to learn how to create a good capture page first.

If you found value in this article and would like to read more about creating an income with your contacts then just follow the link below. Please provide your contact details so that we can send you the full report with much more detail.

May you have great success with your online networking.

Marketing in a Recession

Avoid Premium Market Advertising

There are two types of premium market advertising: The one you buy and the one you sell. Right now, both of those markets are going to have to adopt a budget approach to survive. This can work for you as advertising publishers have to compete much harder for advertising dollars. It gives you more room to negotiate better terms and gives you the freedom to experiment with different formats. If you are in a premium market, you are going to have to adapt to tougher times. Some luxury items might sell well for investors looking to profit in other areas, such as gold. However, other areas like designer handbags and clothing are going to be a really tough sell these days. In that case, you'll have to rethink how to present your inventory to the customers you have to continue to be profitable during a time when consumers have less cash to spend.

Negotiate Better Advertising Contracts

Don't be afraid to haggle a bit with someone who is soliciting you for your advertising campaign. Odds are they want your business very much and they might be willing to fudge the price a bit or throw in a few extra features for the price. It certainly doesn't hurt to ask and it can help you determine what advertising works well for you.

One way to negotiate a better deal is to let the advertiser know that you are experimenting with different formats, but you don't want to buy one package over another. Can they throw in a larger size of the ad for the same price as a smaller one for a limited time to see if it works better? In a way, it would be like a free trial; the incentive for the publishers is that if you like it, you will continue with it at the regular rate. If it doesn't perform the way you expect it to perform, you'll not bother purchasing it for the regular price, but the publisher will still have made some money from the initial sale of the smaller-size ad, making the free trial a win-win for both of you.

Selling Premium Products In A Downsized Market

This is probably the toughest advertising assignment you can do within a recession. How are you going to sell designer jeans to people who can barely afford regular jeans? Obviously, you have to downsize the inventory to less expensive options. You might have to phase out advertising the real premium items and offer direct consultations for people with much more to spend. This not only gets you a contact name, but it also starts to create a one-on-one relationship with people who have that kind of money to spend. For the mass market, focus on discounts and engaging customers with value, even in the luxury markets. For instance, gold chains may not be a necessity, but they are certainly an investment in an atmosphere where gold prices are rising every day. Buying gold chains now is a better value than buying them later when gold prices will be higher, meaning that the gold chains will become unaffordable for many at that time.
