Internet Marketing is easy, Yes it is!

You just need a few things to make a success of your Internet Business. It does not matter what business it is that you want to run on the Internet. The basics stay the same. You need the following:

1. An excellent Product or Service to Market.

2. A site to Promote your Product or Service Automatically.

3. A great Capture Page to sign up New Prospects.

4. A super AutoResponder to Automate your Marketing and Follow Up.

5. A reliable way to get Targeted Traffic to your Site or Sales Page.

6. An extensive Training Site to teach your members to become good Marketers.

7. An easy and effective way to Communicate with your members.

8. A simple System that your members can Duplicate.

This sounds like a lot of stuff to set up and manage on a daily basis. Do not run away just yet, there is a solution for it. Let us look at each one individually.

1. An excellent Product or Service to Market.

Your product must be something that is in great demand. Yes you can make a profit selling something very special and unique, but it will take time to build such a business from scratch.
It is much easier to sell something that is in great demand. If people really need it to survive then it is even better.

What do you think it is that the most people are looking for on the Internet? Food or clothes or even cars? No, they are looking for ways in which they can make money on the Internet. More and more people have computers today and more and more they realize that it might be a way to earn some extra money. Especially now that the economy is turning down.

What do you think is the biggest stumbling block for these people to succeed with an Internet Business? The opportunities or the competition? No, there are hundreds of thousands of really good opportunities available. The competition might be fierce, but the customer pool is so big that there is more than enough for everyone. The biggest problem is knowledge and lack of skills to market. Not all of us has the ability to sell, but on the Internet you have the unique ability to set up a Sales Page that can do the selling for you. You only need to know where to find the correct tools to do it with.

So what is our conclusion? The easiest thing to sell on the Net would be Knowledge. If you can offer real value in training people to start their own profitable business, you will have a winner. If you can offer it for free to the new prospects you will have a stampede. More about that later.


2. A site to Promote your Product or Service Automatically.

For a newcomer to this cyber world of us, it is not easy to learn how to obtain a domain and find proper hosting for it. Most of the time they do not even have the funds to pay for it. Now you would say: "This is a waste of time. Why spend time on someone that cannot even afford the basics?" What if you can train this person to make money on the Net? You will then have a loyal customer with money in his pocket that will follow your lead. Won't that be a valuable asset? Even the most poor will be able to scrape $10 together if you can show them how they can double it within days.

If you bear with me I will show you how you can have a site that will promote your business at no cost to you. But first let us look at the next requirement.

3. A great Capture Page to sign up New Prospects.

A great capture page is where your prospect willingly supply you with their name and email address. A lot of businesses make the mistake to try and sell directly to the visitor to their site. With all the hype and scams on the Net people have become very wary to buy directly on their first entry of your site. Once they leave without buying they might never find you among the millions of other web pages again.

If you can offer them something of great value for free, they might just give you their contact details and you can then follow up on them. You have more time to fill them in on the benefits of your product or service. You have the opportunity to build a relationship with your prospect. Once you have won the trust of the person they will be much more prepared to do business with you.


4. A super AutoResponder to Automate your Marketing and Follow Up.

Once you have more than ten names on your list it will become rather difficult to email them personally on a regular basis and to keep track of who received which letter. With the help of an Autoresponder you can set up a series of letters that will be sent to your prospects automatically. Even if you are asleep or on holiday, your new subscriber will receive a welcome note from you.

They say that someone need to see or hear an advert several times before they will even notice it and react to it. With an Autoresponder you can follow up on your customers with additional offers and make back end sales as well. Most successful marketers will tell you that it is with these follow up sales that you really make a profit. Just to win the trust of your new customer you sometimes have to sell your initial product at a discount rate.

5. A reliable way to get Targeted Traffic to your Site or Sales Page.

Most marketers will tell you that this is the most difficult part of Internet Marketing. What if I tell you that it is only difficult to choose between the hundreds of advertising avenues. Once you have found some facilities that work for your site, it is not difficult at all. What I am going to show you, will clear this up as well.

Not all traffic is worth your effort and it is very important to look for prospects in places where your prospective customers are searching for answers. Most people are not searching for products to buy, but they are looking for solutions to their problems. Offer them a real solution and they will gladly accept your proposal.

6. An extensive Training Site to teach your members to become good Marketers.

Now we are coming to the crux of the matter. We have seen that there are zillions of people who want to make money on the Net but they are overwhelmed by what they find on the Net. They do not have a clue where to start or how to market or even what they should sell. You are in a perfect position to offer them an all-in-one solution.

There are several free training sites available on the Internet. Just type the following into a search engine like Google: "internet marketing training" You will find page upon page of links to all kinds of training sites. Most of the time however there is a catch. Yes they offer free training but you have to join their business to make use of all the marketing tools. Some do allow you to use the tools for free but the site is so loaded with links that lure your members to greener pastures.

In my time as Internet Marketer I have been able to find only a few that will give your members proper training while you are allowed to promote only your own product or service with no external links to other programs. The links they have are links to tested advertising sites or to tools like Autoresponders and Ad-Trackers. These are tools that you will use if you want to become a successful Internet Marketer.

7. An easy and effective way to Communicate with your members.

One of the things that you must realize that is very important for effective marketing on the Net, is that you cannot do it alone. You have to build a team of marketers to help you with your business. As a single person you might be able to make a living as an affiliate, selling other peoples products. You might even make a good living once you have mastered the art of selling Online.

However, once you have built a team of eager marketers, you can reach a level of income of which most people can only dream of. I am talking about residual income. That is income that you will still receive even when you actively stop promoting your product yourself. A team of sales persons can accomplish so much more than a single person.

Let us say you have built your team of 500 members. Now you have to keep in touch with them all to keep them motivated and to solve their problems. Today it is becoming more difficult to communicate only through email because the spam filters are getting more of a problem each day. To use the telephone internationally is not always an option. Instant messaging is one option that you can use and must consider.

Another good way to keep contact with your members is to start a blog or forum where you can post solutions to common problems. Through comments to your blog, your members can ask more questions or even help you solve other members difficulties. If this become an active blog, it might even be picked up by the search engine spiders. When this happens outsiders might also find solutions to their problems on your blog and you might gain a new subscriber to your business. Always have a capture page on your blog for such visitors.


8. A simple System that your members can Duplicate.

"Why simple?" you might ask. I am an engineer - have been for more than 25 years. One thing I have learned in my years working with technical stuff is that it is the simple solutions that work best. Highly sophisticated stuff tend to break just when you need them the most. Intricate machinery has too many parts that can fail while the simple solution normally has fewer parts and it works best.

The same is true with a good training site. The less loose ends there are the less possible it is for your members to get lost. Today we have an overload of information and it makes it difficult for the newbie to concentrate on the main objective. That is to get targeted traffic to their site. To let the site do the promotion of your products and close the sale. To find more prospects to build their list of happy customers and to become financially independent.

Lastly it is necessary to have a system that your downline can duplicate effortlessly. What an ugly word downline is. It sounds as if you are always looking down on them. You must have seen that I avoided using the word as far as possible in my blog. Your members should never be looked down upon. They are the people who will help you to survive these difficult times. Always treat them with the utmost respect and they will see you as a leader worth following.
