Some would also call it your Capture Page. Do not try to market your product or service directly to the Internet browser. They are not actively looking to buy stuff. They are looking for information about a certain subject.

Find people who are interested in your subject and offer them more information about it. Give them some incentive in exchange for their contact data. Once you have subscribed them to your list, you will have time to build a relationship with them. Supply them with valuable information about your subject. Later you can put your offer in front of them. By that time they will know and trust you. They will be more prepared to buy from you because you have credibility with them.
